    1. Darin Michael Grant Yes, TLJ was great. Also, about Chris giving the first Deadpool an A+ rather than those other movies you mentioned, he addressed this in his Deadpool review. He said it’s not a cinematic masterpiece and that not every movie he gives that grade will be the next Citizen Kane or something.

  1. Avengers Infinity War

    Deadpool 2

    Sicario 2: Soldado

Josh Brolin is gonna have a massive pay check by the end of this year.

This IS THE BEST YEAR OF MY LIFEEEEEE YESSSS.

    2. They’re paid in commission. But people like Robert Downey Jr get a share of the profits. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman probably do also.

  2. Kinda disappointed that this wasn’t called “The Untitled Deadpool sequel”. That would have destroyed every wall imaginable.

    1. And have Mr. Peanutbutter play the lead? I’d be up for it, if both BoJack and Deadpool riff on it from the sidelines.

    1. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz simple things amuse simple minds, and the blind lead the blind lead the blind
      RedTool > Deathstroke > DeadPool
It’s disappointing that so many people including you are so easily amused by lazy unimaginative ego stroking cash grab film making. Especially after that rant you did the other day. Do your actions match your words?
DeadPool 2 is a ripoff of a ripoff of a ripoff of a ripoff
Superhero movies are killing/cannibalising the comic book and film making industry.
Warner/DC are just another media company in my opinion, but if it wasn’t for them Marvel wouldn’t exist.
SJW Disney/Marvel love ripping off DC here are a few examples:
      Darkseid = the original Thanos
Deadpool = weak parody of Deathstroke
      Captain Marvel = Shazam, Superman
      X Men = Doom Patrol
      Coming soon to a StarWars/Star Trek/Alien franchise near you…

    2. I love how the movie just kind of references the fact that negasonic teenage warhead is a lesbian and then is like “cool. So whats next on the agenda.”

  3. It was much better than the first movie. Loved this one. The first one is overrated. This one was on point!

    1. John Jeffry did we watch the same film??? The first film was pure comedy action JUST like the sequel (and to be clear, there’s WAY more action in the second)…your comment is way off

  4. It looks like that I’m disagreeing with Chris about every comic book movie from now on. I thought this was way better than the first.

    1. The first one was too little Deadpool shenanigans and way too much boring superhero origin story where he saves someone at the end from a bland villain. The sequel is a lot more Deadpool shenanigans and less boring superhero cliche story even if it had to take notes from Logan for that. I will agree with Chris that the sequel focused a bit too much on the emotional stuff and some jokes were cringey to me, but hey comedy is subjective as they say. The ending sequence alone makes this better then the first one to me.

    2. Naaw deadpool 2 was really lazy writing, those jokes about Marvel Dc universe, selfaware we are acting and this is a movie jokes aint funny to me

    1. I just purchased Dead Pool and Dead Pool 2 today and can’t wait to watch them.. i have not seen the first one yet (I know ,I know..what planet have I been living on lol)..but after seeing your comment and many others I think I’m in for a treat…i don’t like violence and can’t stand the sight of blood so I’m hoping it’s not too bad in that area..the pictures on the back of the dvd’s look like it may similar to Spider-Man. Got the popcorn popping and Dead Pool 1 in the blu-ray ready to hit start

    1. Tramaine Terrance you’re obviously easily pleased…no friends, no girl and a fucking fucktard I’d enjoy stamping on till you stop breathing.

  5. First off, it was Atomic Blonde, not American Blonde.

And secondly, I loved the first one but this is a lot better. I liked giving Deadpool a more down-to-Earth and emotional core in this movie, which shows he’s more than just a funny guy who cracks jokes and doesn’t die. And also, this movie is goddamn hilarious. The credits scene is, without a doubt, the best one I’ve seen from all of these superhero movies. And the soundtrack is also killer, with AC/DC, Dolly Parton, Cher, Peter Gabriel, a-ha, Celine Dion, and more.

    1. And MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT:

This movie is basically a comedic parody of Logan, in a great way. The movie literally opens with Deadpool using a Logan music box with the figure of Wolverine impaled in the branch on top. And when Deadpool dies, they used the same music when Logan died. It was hysterical.

  6. I thought the emotional parts were really good, and to me they felt genuine and not forced. The a-ha scene actually really touched me hahaha.

  7. Deadpool 2 didn’t feel fresh. It felt very messy. I liked that they brought back characters that I enjoyed from the comics such as Cable, Juggernaut. But the jokes were sometimes just exhausting to listen to. But I also am aware that Disney is going through the process of buying the rest of the X-Men characters including Deadpool. So I feel this movie was more of an attempt to just let everything loose before Disney takes over the reigns.

  8. Did anyone else think this movie was meh? I honestly felt this movie was nowhere near as good as the first. Most of the joke didn’t land. Some were just played out way too much. End credits scene were the best part

    1. Yeah, it felt at times like it was trying to hit the same marks as the first one, rather than doing things that felt more natural. Also felt like they forced in Negasonic without her really having anything to do/say, like her only purpose was to have a GF with pink hair so they could work in a Pinkie Pie reference. That said, Domino was fun, that end credits sequence rocked, and I loved that there actually was stuff hidden in the apartment.

    2. I’m glad I didn’t pay for this at the theatre. I almost didn’t finish watching the blu ray. I was so bored during most of the movie. I think this franchise is a one trick pony and they already did that trick in the first movie, which I really liked.

  9. this review nailed it. I agree with giving it a B, it was pretty good, but I definently enjoyed deadpool 1 more. Deadpool 1 was alot funnier, and seemed more unique. I was a little let down by deadpool 2, it was a good movie just not the movie i wanted it to be.

  10. I gotta be honest. I felt short-handed. Didn’t like the movie that much. Deadpool 1 was better.

This one had a lot of jokes that weren’t that funny. Too much improv by Reynolds, and that kinda shows in some sections of the movie.

The third act was weak and anticlimatic. A number of scenes left for the mid-credits were kinda relevant (specially the one where Vanessa was brougth back).

Cable was a lousy fake antagonist. His eye was not permanently bright. His time-travel gimmick was barely explained and his insight was barely approached. He just hanged around with big guns. Cable is more than that.

Everything looked WAAAY superficial. Nearly all of X-Force dying was for nothing. Not even Shatterstar had a shining moment.

    1. The Stark Knight Returns are you in school still? Dp1 was juvenile and is only funny the first time round. The jokes are just really immature. DP2 was genius comedy, clever comedy. It was akin to The Nice Guys. As for your other concerns they are all a bit stupid.

    2. Joe morgan why is it that you have to mock someone, just because they didn’t feel the same way about this movie as you do? are you still in school?

    1. Am i only one who hates the self aware jokes, every 10 minutes reminding you that this is a movie, and they are all characters , i was waiting for a camera to pan at the director of the movie and the cameras recording it
