  1. I’m going to see Venom this weekend and I’m pumped. I’m really glad that you aren’t one of those people who won’t admit there’s anything good about a movie they don’t like. Keep up the great work!

    1. Honestly? Tom Hardy’s Eddie was good! You just have to go into that movie NOT expecting Eddie to be the same as he was in the comic. He’s different just like Thor’s personality is different in the MCU versus the comics! It definitely had some problems! The lack of Spidey caused it to not follow the comic origin exactly, but there were DEFINITELY parts that made me feel like I was in the comic or tv shows! I liked it honestly! I feel like if they make a sequel and fix the corny lines, it be dope! I can enjoy this if I just don’t expect them to have the storyline from the comics! It definitely felt like Venom in the places that mattered! OMG it feels so good to see them in live action!!
Some of the lines were so corny for sure, but if they get Venom to tie in with Spider-Man, it will kill! It definitely has potential!

    2. Nice! I saw it today, I won’t spoil anything, all I’ll say is that I thought it was pretty good. It is really underrated, I would give it a 8.5 out of 10!

    1. +Happy Lightning Yes, multiple reviewers, but… I’m just saying, just because you see that it hasn’t gotten the best reviews doesn’t mean you shouldn’t see it. I think people should have their own opinion on the movie then letting other people decide for them, you never know you might love something they didn’t like

    2. I also really liked it. I won’t say it was good because good and bad are subjective, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, @Lil stem cell, love the name.

  2. Just watched this yesterday. It wasnt as bad as the reviews said. But it was still bad. Tom hardy really saved this movie

  3. What i hated about this movie: they didnt know if they wanted to make venom scary or funny, good or evil. They wanted to make him an antihero so they makes him eat people but they want him to be funny and caring also. Its like venom is bipolar. Second thing i hate is the toned down violence.

What i liked: the interaction between eddie and venom. Especially when other people is talking to eddie and venom is talking to him too but only eddie can hear him. Those parts are truly entertaining thnx to toms performance.

  4. Actually enjoyed this movie, tom Hardy was great, cgi was not bad like I expected it to be. The end credit scene was awesome!

  5. Tbh I just saw venom and thought it was excellent, yeah it’s not a Oscar nominated movie but this sort of Taco Bell movies should make you have fun and me and all my friends just say threw it and thought it’s was fun charming and a very very entertaining movie , yeah the way the third act god solved is kinda annoying but I think it was a very fun movie 7.10,

  6. It does not deserve all the hate. it has like a 30 on rotten tomatoes. like bruh, i wouldn’t say it’s bad at all and I’m looking forward to a part 2. 7/10 i think

    2. +Hextik Williams I totally agree, i never read the Comics so i couldnt compare it, thats probably why i liked it a log, i just think the beginning was a bit slow and some of the dialogue wasnt that great. I personally loved the eddie/Venom Dynamic!!

    3. Ofcourse… the standard of cinema has been set down. In this age of 18, I think i should give up dreaming to be a screen-writer.

  7. Very fun and entertaining movie, I haven’t laughed out loud in a movie theater in a long time but I did at a lot of the jokes in Venom. I would have to give it a 7/10.

  8. I actually really enjoyed the movie, yes there are a few things that needed some polishing but on the whole I didn’t think it was a bad movie… At least it’s better than Spider-Man 3

  9. Slow from the beginning but the rest was just great and a fun time! 😎 Venom full of great action-packed scenes… Some great laugh scenes and just a great movie to watch! 😉😆😃 I rate it a 9/10 because of the slow start at the beginning… So I go with the Audience at 88% with me going at 90%. Critics are lying to you on #RottenTomatoes 🍅🍅🍅 fyi. Great review man! 👏

    1. You know Rotten Tomatoes is the combined opinion on ALL major film critics? They don’t lie for the sake of tanking a film – critics, more than anyone, want every movie they see to succeed.

I found the film entertaining and light fun but I personally though it was poorly structured and had lacklustre action, as well as flat characters.

Critics aren’t lying to anyone – they just don’t like the film, which is fair.

I’m glad you enjoyed it though.
